Recycling

Reduce your footprint

Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects. It is an alternative to "conventional" waste disposal that can save material and help lower greenhouse gas emissions. It can prevent the waste of potentially useful materials and reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, thereby reducing: energy usage, air pollution (from incineration), and water pollution (from landfilling).
With studies showing every Australian contributes around two tonnes of waste each year, it’s clear there’s some room for improvement That's where and why we step in. Wastebusters

We recycle

Paper Recycling

We recycle aproximately 400 tonne of news print, magazines, books and more.

We collect, reprocess and reuse  thick sheets or stiff multilayered papers that have been used, discarded or regarded as waste. An approximate of 850 tonne of cardboard per year gets processed in our facilities.

We process and reuse a wide range of aluminum products. From empty cans to construction structures. In between 200-300 tonne of aluminum per year gets reused at Wastebusters.

Made up of 98% air and only 2% plastic, polystyrene is one of the most challenging materials to recycle. We have the appropiate machinery to process it in an ecofriendly way. In the image you see 9 cubic meters of polystyrene processed into a 300mm x 300mm block with a weight of 15 kg.
